Materials and depths

What each kind of zone asks, and what it gives.

Loose materials

Mulch, Gravel, Topsoil and, under Other materials, Compost, River rock, Decomposed granite, Bedding sand, Crushed stone base: set the Thickness. The zone shows its volume and weight.

Pavers

Paver length, Paver width, Joint width, Paver thickness, Bedding sand depth and Base depth (0 = none). The zone gives the pavers, the bedding sand, the joint sand and the base.

Wall

Wall height, Block length, Block height, Block depth, Cap length (0 = none), Drainage gravel width (0 = none) and Base depth (0 = none). The zone gives the courses, the blocks, the caps, the drainage gravel, the drain pipe and the base.

Edging and slab

Edging runs along a length, by the foot or in pieces (Piece length (0 = sold by length)). Slab takes a thickness of concrete and a base.

Waste

Extra for waste: 0, 5, 10 or 15 %. Pavers, walls, edging and slabs start at 5 %, loose materials at 0. Bases and wall drainage are always counted to size.
